May 14, 2010 - The Region IV All-Region Team was announced today, and Spartans Mackenzie Scott and Barb Posinger earned First and Second Team honors respectively. Scott, ECC's top pitcher, had an oustanding season striking out 350 batters in 32 games pitched, and ended the year with a 1.22 ERA. Posinger, the Spartans' shortstop, batted .396 and was solid in the field. More»
Season Outlook
The Spartans are looking forward to a successful 2010 season. ECC will have a lot of new faces with only three returning players, Barb Posinger (All-Conference, All-Region, MVP ISCC), Sophie Sterricker (All-Conference) and Jess LoRusso (missed last season due to an injury). However, the new faces will bring an abundance of talent to the line-up. Mackenzie Scott (standout pitcher from Burlington Central HS) will take over duties on the mound. More»
