Fees

Enrollment Fees

Students enrolling in credit classes pay an enrollment fee of $6 per student per semester.

Testing Fees

The testing center and career services charge nominal fees for some tests; placement and assessment tests are free.

Course Fees and Laboratory Fees

  • Credit courses - Course fees are applied if specialized equipment and/or individualized small-group instruction are required. Lab fees are applied for laboratory courses to cover the direct costs of lab materials and supplies. Use the credit classes search feature to check if a course has a course or lab fee.

Instructional Fees

Instructional fees are assessed to offset higher costs in teaching/learning environments. These courses require specialized supplies, software, equipment, maintenance, individualized instruction, and low faculty-to-student ratios. See the list of instructional fees.

Course fees and lab fees are refundable according to the refund schedule.

Payment Plan Fees

ECC offers payment plans as convenient ways to budget your educational expenses. They are not loan programs. No interest or finance charges are assessed. A non-refundable service fee of $30 per semester will be added to your down payment. Late payments will result in a late fee of $35 assessed to your student account.
