ECC Blogs Terms of Use


  • Messages must be consistent with and not detract from the mission and/or best interests of Student Life and Elgin Community College. Messages must not violate College policies and procedures.

  • Messages must be lawful under federal and state law. Messages may not violate copyright laws. Unauthorized transfer of copyrighted materials to or from the ECC computer system without expressed consent of the owner is a violation of federal law.
  • Messages should not contain profane, defamatory, harrasssing, fraudulent, or obscene material or material containing viruses. ECC reserves the right to take whatever action it sees as appropriate to prevent, correct or discipline behavior that violates this policy.
  • ECC takes no responsibility for 3rd party content nor does it have an obligation to monitor 3rd party content.
  • ECC has the right to delete or modify the content of this site at any time for any reason without notification and to ban or restrict forum users for any reason at any time.
  • Postings are non-confidential Users cannot impersonate another person. Users should maintain the confidentiality of their passwords.
