ECC Fees
Students enrolling in credit classes pay an enrollment fee of $5 per student, per semester.
Testing Fees
Nominal fees are charged to administer some tests given by the college’s Testing Center and Office of Career Development. Placement, assessment and telecourse tests are free.
Course Fees
- Credit courses - fees applied if specialized equipment and/or individualized small group instruction are required. Shown with credit courses in class schedules.
- Noncredit courses - see the individual course listing.
Course fees are refundable according to the refund schedule.
Laboratory Fees
topStudents are charged a fee for each laboratory course in which they enroll to cover the direct costs of lab materials and supplies. Fees for 2012

Payment Plan Fee
ECC offers payment plans as convenient ways to budget your educational expenses. They are not loan programs. No interest or finance charges are assessed. There is a non-refundable service fee of $25 per semester that will be added to your down payment. More»
Graduation Fees
Students intending to graduate earning the following:
- Associate Degree - $15 for one degree (with or without graduation ceremony) and $5 for each additional degree.
- Certificates - $15 for certificate (with graduation ceremony); no fee for just the certificate (no graduation ceremony).

Health Professions Application Fee
topPayment of a $10 nonrefundable fee is due each time a student applies to a credit health professions program. Download application.
Internet Fee
All students pay a lab/course fee of $5 per credit hour for courses offered online. Out-of-district and out-of-state online students pay an additional Internet fee of $15 per credit hour fee to take ECC classes. Costs shown in class schedules for courses offered on the Internet represent in-district tuition only. The fee is refundable according to the refund schedule.
Proficiency Fee
topStudents must pay $15 plus $5 per credit hour for each ECC course they intend to proficiency. A typical three credit hour course costs students $30 to proficiency ($15 plus $5 for each credit hour).
Child Care Fees
Students enrolling their children at the college’s early childhood lab school pay a security deposit per family, per semester plus an hourly charge based on current costs for each child enrolled. A payment plan is available for parents unable to pay all fees at one time. Students may register their children on a full-time or part-time basis anytime after they register for their own classes. College employees may enroll their children on a full-time or part-time basis at anytime. Insurance Fee
topStudent accident and sickness insurance is available at special rates. Extended coverage for eligible dependents and the student’s spouse is also offered as a policy option. More»
Late Fee/Collection Fee
A $25 late fee is assessed to students using the college's payment plan whose payment is denied or fails to process for any reason. Students who have a balance after all financial aid has posted may also be assessed a late fee of $25. Unpaid accounts are sent to a collection agency after mid-term. These accounts will be assessed a $25 fee to cover collection costs. More»
