Career Assessment Package

The career assessment package (CAP) provides valuable information to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of their interests, personality and values which are all extremely important in making informed career choices. A career development specialist discusses assessment results in a two-hour interpretive session. Those assessment instruments are:

  • Strong interest inventory
  • Myers-Briggs type indicator
  • Values assessment

Choosing a Major Workshop

This interactive two-hour workshop focuses on linking your interests with possible majors/careers. Gain a better understanding of the career development process; take a career assessment; connect college majors with your interests, personality and values; and learn how to do effective career exploration. Through group discussion, activities and a career interest self-assessment using the Self-Directed Search (SDS), enhance your ability to make decisions on majors and career choice.

Registration: Advanced registration is required. To reserve a seat, please call the Career Development Services Office at 847-214-7399. Prior to the session, registered individuals will be contacted by telephone to confirm session date, time, and location.
