Career Exploration & Planning

Career Assessment Package

The career assessment package (CAP) provides valuable information to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of their interests, personality and values which are all extremely important in making informed career choices. A career development specialist discusses assessment results in a two-hour interpretive session. Those assessment instruments are:

  • Strong Interest Inventory
  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
  • Values Assessment

Choosing a Major Workshop

This interactive hands-on workshop will enhance your ability to make effective career decisions. You will gain a better understanding of the career development process and learn about career exploration resources that will put you on the path to academic and career success. Students who attend this workshop will receive $5 off their career assessment package.

Registration: Advanced registration is encouraged. To reserve a seat, please call the Career Development Services Office at 847-214-7399. Prior to the session, registered individuals will be contacted by telephone to confirm session date, time, and location.
