Financial Literacy 101

Financial Literacy 101 is an engaging multimedia experience that combines a robust curriculum tailored to the needs of students with a learning model designed to actually prevent financial problems before they start. No registration or payment required.

When you first register, you must use one of the following log in access codes:

  • General users: ECCFIN101

Specific student cohorts (use under direction of your faculty/program director):

  • Student Support Services students: TRIOSSS11
  • Upward Bound students: TRIOUPB11

Budget Workshop

Anyone can attend! Budgeting is not hard! Come to this free event and find out how fast and easy it can be. In just one hour, students will create a budget for a typical student. Take control of your money and ensure your financial future.

When: Wednesday, March 19 from 10 to 11 a.m.
Location: Alumni Room, Building B
Registration: Required if you plan on being in attendance.

Online registration is the preferred method:

  1. Visit elgin.edu/cereg
  2. Enter course number SFS 100; then select 'Submit'
  3. Select check box next to course; then select 'Submit'
  4. Complete all required form fields; then select 'Submit'
  5. No payment required
