Student Orientation
New College Student Orientation
Required for all first-time students attending college during the fall and spring semesters. As soon as you have completed steps 1 - 3, you will be assigned the earliest available orientation date and place. These sessions are designed for the new student to attend and we strongly encourage parents/families to attend one of our parent/family orientations.
- Submit a completed ECC application for admission. Apply now»
- Submit your high school transcript. More»
- Complete placement testing in math, writing and reading. More»
Date & place: earliest available orientation will be assigned. Orientation sessions take approximately four hours. During the session you will:
- Get to know other new students, current ECC students and staff
- Explore and utilize pertinent resources, services and technologies
- Learn to use basic educational planning tools (class schedule booklet and college catalog)
- Register for classes
Parent/Family Orientation
