How to Register for Continuing Education Classes

You can register for any class in our online catalog by clicking the course number (e.g., CEB 333) and clicking the blue "Register & Pay Online" button. Please note that none of our continuing education classes are eligible for financial aid.

Registration and Payment

New to ECC?

If you've never taken any class at ECC (either for credit or non-credit), you'll be asked to complete a basic profile before you pay for your class. Please follow all the steps and enter your payment at the end.

Have you taken a class before?

If you've taken any class at ECC, including continuing education and Kids' College, you can log in using your existing credentials. Using an existing account helps keep track of all of your ECC activities in one place. You will be taken directly to the class registration page and can proceed to register and pay.

Payment Required at Time of Registration.

Payment is required when registering online for Continuing Education classes. You may use a credit/debit card or a checking/savings account routing number and account number to make a payment. Please enter your information carefully and make sure funds are available in your account, as a $35 non-refundable service fee will be assessed in case of a returned payment. If you experience problems registering via the web, don't hesitate to contact our Continuing Education office at ceregistration@elgin.edu. Non-payment will result in you being dropped from the class the next day.

Grant funding may be available.

Some of our career training programs may be eligible for state or federal grant funds. Don't hesitate to contact us at 847-622-3036 to explore options.

In-Person Registration

If you prefer to pay in person, please visit ECC’s Registration & Records Office in Building B, Room B105, on the main campus at 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, to register for classes and student accounts making cash payments. Call 847-214-7393 for office hours and more information, or email registration@elgin.edu.
