1. Log on to emergency.elgin.edu
2. Enter your name, cell number & email address
3. Click to register
When you register, you will receive two messages confirming enrollment, one from ECC and another from our provider, 2sms.com. No further action is required. When a situation arises that requires an emergency broadcast, the college will send a text message to the cell phone number you provided.
Registration Requirements
- Your cell phone must be capable of receiving text messages.
- If you have ever opted out of a 2sms-hosted service, you may not receive a confirmation message.
- Carrier charges may apply to text messages.
