ECC has announced the appointment of Felicia Griffin as director of communications. Griffin will be responsible for media relations, internal and external stakeholder relations and legislative affairs.
“Felicia is a wonderful addition to the ECC team,” says Paula Amenta, managing director of marketing and communications. “We are fortunate to have someone with her depth of experience in this role,” Amenta added.
“ECC has a strong, dedicated, and highly talented team of professional and personable people,” Griffin says.” I am looking forward to developing creative ways to help the college seize new opportunities and overcome challenges.”
Prior to her arrival at ECC, Griffin worked as a public relations and communications consultant. She previously served as communications manager for the Port of Houston Authority, the second largest port in the United States. Additionally, she was a news producer, reporter and anchor for Houston’s KNWS-TV.
Griffin earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.
