September 2, 2010 - While the early morning conditions didn't look good, the first Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference match of the season was able to be completed yesterday. In a field of six teams, Waubonsee Community College took 1st place with a score of 298. Second place went to the College of Lake County (301) followed by Moraine Valley Community College (303), Elgin Community College (334), Oakton Community College (353) and Prairie State College (385). Season Outlook
The ECC Men's Golf team has two All-Conference players returning: Andrew Meier (Jacobs) and Dale Swetman (Hampshire). We will look to them for leadership for our tough schedule this year. We have Adam Elleman (Bartlett) and Drew Kissel (Burlington Central) as newcomers this year. We hope to play well in our conference, but a bigger goal will be to qualify for the NJCAA Nationals.
