ECC Foundation
The ECC Foundation is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Since 1984, the Foundation has provided private financial support to ECC students and college programs, thanks to numerous donations from generous individuals, families and businesses.
New Executive Director of Institutional Advancement and the ECC Foundation
Norman Paul Madsen, Ph.D., joins the college as the new executive director of institutional advancement and the ECC Foundation. He looks forward to meeting and building relationships within area communities. “I am interested to learn what people do, what are their interests, their challenges and their issues, and how the Foundation can help,” he said.
Setting Up Priorities
The majority of contributions have provided scholarships to students who might have been unable to continue their education otherwise. More»
ECC Needs Additional Support
Although local tax funding has remained stable, state funding has declined for years, forcing the college to raise tuition to keep pace with rising operating costs. Private financial support for the college becomes more critical with each passing year. More»
