RAD 211 Radiographic Imaging III

Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in RAD 210, RAD 209, RAD 208 and RAD 242

This course covers advanced imaging concepts including computed tomography, PACS and image intensified and digital fluoroscopic equipment and image recording devices. Additional topics include the concept of continuous quality improvement in the healthcare environment and the impact of legislation and accreditation standards on quality management programs. Also included are quality control and quality assurance procedures for a variety of imaging equipment and processes. (1.2) Proficiency Credit Not Available Pass/No Credit Not Available
