RAD 210 Radiographic & Sectional Anatomy
Credit Hours: 2
Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in RAD 105, RAD 106, RAD 107 and RAD 134

This course provides the student with an understanding of anatomy from a radiographic and three dimensional perspective. The study of anatomy in the transverse, sagittal, and coronal planes enhances the student's understanding of gross anatomy and patient positioning. The course provides clinical application of information to the cross sectional imaging modalities of Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The course utilizes a body region approach to sectional anatomy, and emphasizes the location and relative position of the structures studied.
