EMT 122 Paramedic II
Credit Hours: 6
Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in EMT 121 or concurrent enrollment in EMT 121; EMT 121 should be taken prior to EMT 122 in the same semester

This course encompasses the training of paramedics in the areas of pathophysiology, pharmacology, venous access, medication administration, and specific medical emergencies including those involving pulmonary, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, toxicology, and hematology diseases. This course will consist of classroom theory and concurrent laboratory and clinical experience in simulated situations, the hospital and out in the field.
