Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in RDG 085, an ACT Reading score of 18 or above or an appropriate placement score. Grade of C or better BUS 120 or in MTH 090, an ACT math score of 23 or above, or an appropriate placement score

This course is designed to give the student an overview of basic kitchen skills. Skill and competencies include knife handling, safety, sanitation, culinary terms, and equipment identification. This course is a prerequisite to CUL 102/PAS 102 and can be taken in conjunction with CUL 102 or PAS 102. (1.2) Proficiency Credit Not Available Pass/No Credit Available
