CIS 222 Computer Operating Systems/Linux

Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in CIS 110 or CIS 105 or CIS 121 or consent of instructor

In this introduction to using the Linux operating system, students will learn the basics of using the command line for navigation and file management and learn the use of basic Linux utilities. Students will learn to use text editors and basic scripting and scheduling for processes.
