CIS 105 Introduction to Computer Programming

Prerequisite: Effective Summer 2016: Grade of C or better in MTH 098 or MTH 099 or appropriate placement score Prerequisite through Spring 2016: None

This is an introduction to computer programming concepts and techniques. Topics will include storage and variables, conditional execution, loops and repetition, functions, parameter passing, arrays, and data files. The course will involve many hands-on programming exercises. The computer language used and the type of applications emphasized may vary by section.
