Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in CDN 107 or consent of instructor

This course will explore the design of graphics created for Internet viewing. Using skills developed in foundation coursework, students will be introduced to web specific design considerations. Course will cover image optimization, using images as navigation devices, text as image, GIF animations, simple javascripts and design principles for effective communication over the web.
