Prerequisite: CDN 107 or consent of instructor

This course is an introduction to the terms and characteristics of typography. Students will research classical and contemporary typographic forms; construct typographic compositions and systems; and use typography as an expressive medium to convey aesthetic, emotional, and intellectual meaning.
