ASE 098 Introduction to GED

Prerequisite: Effective Summer 2016: Appropriate adult education placement test score. No U.S. high school diploma or U.S. high school equivalency certificate. Prerequisite through Spring 2016: A student who scores between 9.0 and 12.9 on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Reading Test and no U.S. high school diploma nor U.S. GED, or departmental consent

This course is specifically designed for individuals preparing to enroll in GED classes. The course provides an overview of the GED test, GED test registration procedures, GED practice tests, goal setting, career exploration, and ECC resources. The course is repeatable up to six credits.
