A joint agreement allows a student to attend an out-of-district Illinois community college at that college’s in-district tuition rates. Joint agreements only apply to associate in applied science (AAS) degrees or certificates for Career and Technical programs not offered at Elgin Community College.

The Comprehensive Agreement Regarding the Expansion of Educational Resources (CAREER Agreement) - PDF, or joint agreement, enables community colleges in Illinois to provide additional educational programs to the residents of other community college districts.
