Through the Decades
May 1950
The college joins the American Association of Junior Colleges.
September 1970
The college moves into the new campus building at 1700 Spartan Drive.
September 1990
The college dedicates Founders Court and Alumni Court.
March 2018
ECC hosts its first Regional Workforce Development forum and establishes a Department of Workforce Development at the college.
From High School Wing in 1949 to Top 25
During the day, young ECC students completed their first two years of "credit" study at ECC and transferred to a university. In the evening, students spanning a wider age range took credit or noncredit classes for personal growth in the 1950s.
