Computer Aided Design

Computer aided design (CAD) is an advanced product development tool
used extensively in industrial manufacturing and allows engineers,
designers, and drafters, to develop new products faster by automating
many complex, tedious, and repetitive design tasks. Traditional
drafting tools of pencils, triangles, and scales are still used, but
along side digitizing pens, icons, tablets, and other high tech
commodities.
