I tried taking a self-study APICS course but it was like reading stereo instructions. I have found great value in attending an instructor-led APICS test prep class at ECC. Talking with other students in the class along with the three full days of instruction has helped me to really grasp this material. I’d recommend this class to anyone seeking to become APICS certified.

Things are going very well and, coincidentally, I just had my first speaking event last since taking your class and it went very well. I remembered to speak louder and I engaged my audience considerably better given the guidance that you provided. topI and several personnel at my company were looking to learn more about what Excel could do to help us in our day to day needs and use of the software. We took advantage of the ed-2go program provided through Elgin Community College on line and found it met all of our expectations. The program allowed each of us to take the Intermediate Excel course at our own pace. Everyone had a different schedule and it was nice to allow everyone to take this course at a time of their own choosing rather than to have to bring all of us together at the same time. Each employee mentioned they had a particular chapter that they were truly interested in learning more about yet enjoyed the entire course as a good ‘refresher’. I would recommend the ed-2go course for anyone who would like to take a thorough and well structured class at their own pace and on their own time schedule.

The Microsoft Office 2003 training that Eligin Community College recently offered to employees at the City of St. Charles employees was excellent. Pam Saylor, Corporate and Education Services, was extremely responsive in all communications about what our employees needed and how ECC was willing to tailor their program to meet our unique needs. Jill Ballard, ECC instructor, provided a program that included just the right amount of material and was very good at explaining and demonstrating how to navigate WORD and Excel. We were able to request the specific classes most needed by our employees, and ECC went above and beyond to accommodate as many employees as possible for our training. We had an excellent experience and would highly recommend ECC for computer training.
