Parking Restrictions
Violations are enforced by ECC police and Elgin police.
Employee Parking
Full- and part-time faculty and staff need a permit to park in employee lots. Student workers are not eligible for employee parking permits. The first permit is free; replacements cost $3 each.
Handicap Parking
Handicap parking is available at the Main Campus in lots 1, 9, 14, 15 and 19. At Fountain Square, handicap parking is in the lot at the southwest corner of Fulton and Spring Streets. A handicap placard/license plate issued by the state is required.
Motorcycle Parking
Lots 1 and 9 have designated parking spaces set aside for motorcycles during the appropriate seasons. Spaces are marked with signage.
Parking Tickets
ECC tickets are payable at the Student Accounts Office, SRC 141, first floor, Main Campus.
Any violation written by the City of Elgin must be appealed through the City of Elgin court system, not through the college.
Appeal ECC Parking Ticket
Complete a Parking Ticket Appeal Form. Submit the completed form to the Student Life Office, SRC 171, Main Campus.
