Jeffrey A. Meyer, JD
Jeffrey Meyer was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2015 and currently serves on the board’s finance committee. Meyer is an attorney and member in the Sycamore law firm of Klein Stoddard Buck & Lewis LLC where he concentrates his practice in civil litigation, real estate transactions, estate organization, and business organization. Meyer is a lifelong resident of Elgin where he currently resides with his wife, Courtney, and
their son. A graduate of Larkin High School, Meyer attended Northern Illinois University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctor degree. During his time at NIU, Meyer served as a graduate assistant in the division of student affairs and as the graduate/professional student delegate to the university council.
Meyer values civic involvement and currently serves as the chair of the Elgin Township Republican Central Committee and as treasurer and board member for ECC in-residence ensemble Hamilton Wings. He is a member of the Kane County Bar Association, the DeKalb County Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. Meyer is an Eagle Scout, a recipient of the DeKalb County Bar Association’s Professionalism Award, NIU Outstanding Graduate Assistant Award, and the Elgin Township Republican Central Committee’s Committeeman of the Year Award.
