Emergency Operations Plan Overview
The college's emergency operations plan defines the Emergency Management Team, which is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the college's response to emergencies of a magnitude that would cause significant disruption to ECC operations. In the event of any emergency/crisis situation, including severe weather, significant utility disruption, hazardous materials release, or campus violence incident, the appropriate members of the Emergency Management Team will assemble to mitigate the consequences, promote the safety of the community, and provide for continuity of business for the college's educational and outreach missions.
Standard Operating Guidelines
Standard emergency operations plans (EOPs) provide a more detailed framework for college operations during emergency events. Since all emergencies are unique, these guidelines are designed to be flexible to accommodate contingencies of various types and magnitudes. Additional EOPs will be posted to these web pages as they are developed.
General Guidelines/Additional Resources
General campus-wide emergency guidelines for various hazards can be accessed by clicking on the links to the left. Since prompt action is critical during an emergency, please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with these guidelines before an emergency occurs. In addition, educational awareness/preparedness workshops are offered throughout the semester.
