LIT 241 Great Books Seminar I

Prerequisite: Reading: Grade of C or better in RDG 091, an ACT Reading score of 18 or above, or an appropriate placement score. Writing: Grade of C or better in ENG 098, an ACT English score of 20, or an appropriate placement score.+

The course is a study of classic writings in the humanities using the readings and the shared inquiry method of discussion developed by the Great Books Foundation. The selected readings and course content are different from LIT 242, LIT 243, LIT 244 and LIT 245 even though the method and procedure are the same for each course (1.1) Fulfills the ECC/IAI General Education/Humanities requirement.
