ART 110 Design II

Prerequisite: ART 109 or consent of instructor

Emphasis is on the structure of three-dimensional form and space. An introduction of basic three-dimensional design processes and how these relate to artist's concepts. Three-dimensional design ideas will be formulated and visualized through practice and utilization of various media and techniques. Slide presentations, lecture demonstrations, discussions and critiques are included. A continuation of basic design elements and principles, as they apply to three-dimensional form is stressed.
